IWC Top Gun Pilot`s Watches

Yesterday I wrote about the new IWC BigPilot´s DFB watch. Here is a cool video, where all the other new IWC Pilot`s watches are in (including my new favorite, the IWC Big Pilot`s Top Gun Perpetual Calender).

IWC Big Pilot Watch Limited Edition DFB 2012

IWC Schaffhausen launched a special edition for the EURO 2012, the UEFA European Football Championship, in Poland and Ukraine. The new IWC Big Pilot Watch Edition DFB (Ref. IW500432) is limited to 250 pieces. On the back you find a special DFB engraving and on the left side of the case is the limited edition number. Diameter of the watch: 46 mm, case height: 16 mm.

Compared to the normal IWC Big Pilot steel watch, the DFB watch has an inverted dial color (white instead of black), a second hand subdial on the left, red little hands on the second and power reserve subdial and a more sporty looking stamped leather strap.

Features a mechanical movement, pellaton automatic winding, 7-day power reserve, date display, small seconds, breguet spring, movement: Calibre 51011, frequency: 21,600 A/h / 3 Hz, 42 jewels, power reserve: 7 days (168 h) winding automatic, stainless-steel case, rhodium-plated dial, sun-pattern finish, black stamped leather strap, folding clasp in stainless steel, sapphire glas, convex, antireflective coating on both sides, water-resistant: 6 bar.

Funny to see a Big Pilot watch with two subdials. Looks now exactly like a IWC Portuguese 7 days. I like the white (inverted) dial and the red small hands.

IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph

The IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph is the first sporty model in the IWC Portuguese family. It has a 45 mm case available in 18k red gold or in steel with a black or a silver plated dial. It has a flyback function, shows the date and has luminescent hands and indices. The price for the steel versions is 12,600 USD, the red gold Yachtclub is available for 23,100 USD.
